The Siklaban UFVAC 2022 Tournament marked the long-awaited return of the United Filipino Volleyball Association of Canada’s national gathering after the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Originally scheduled for July 11–12, 2021, the tournament had to be postponed due to pandemic restrictions. The event was successfully rescheduled and held on July 30–31, 2022 at the Markham Pan Am Centre in Toronto, Ontario.

A total of 35 teams from across Canada participated in the tournament, bringing together Filipino volleyball communities to reconnect through sport and competition. Over two exciting days, athletes showcased their skills while supporters created a lively and energetic atmosphere throughout the venue.

Siklaban 2022 was made possible through the support of community partners and sponsors including Tagpuan Restaurant, Wilson’s Haus of Lechon, Toronto Honda, Lifeline Immigration Canada Inc., Highest Ink, and NPS Auto Wraps.

The event symbolized resilience and unity within the Filipino volleyball community and successfully revived the national UFVAC tournament tradition.
